Under floor Heating - Varme Mat 150 The Varme Mat electric underfloor heating system uses the same high quality cable supplied in the kits, but comes pre-attached to a mesh so it can be simply 'rolled out' for speed of installation in large areas. The standard mat is rated at 150 watts per sqm making it ideal for installation in any rooms.

Where new floors are being constructed in new buildings or conservatories, good quality insulation should be incorporated at the design stage.

When installing Underfloor Heating onto an existing floor we strongly advise using the best form of insulation available within your working constraints:-

The FH-01 Underfloor heating thermostat has been designed specifically with electric under floor heating in mind, able to control up to 16amp.

1. Floor sensor only. Ideal when you only want to control the floor surface temperature. (Conservatories for example)

2. Air and Floor. The thermostat controls the air temperature whilst using the floor sensor to prevent overheating of the floor system.
