Lonsdale Slate Planter
We have craft these beautiful Slate Planters, perfect or any outdoor situation and sure the be the talking point at your summer BBQ. With using our famous Lonsdale slate it comes with beautiful natural markings and textures keeping each and every piece unique. Another great point with it being Natural Slate it is completely weather proof no matter the freeze this stuff is built to last.
We seal every slate planter that leaves the care of our master craftsmen, we have our own special sealer that protects our slate and brings out the natural markings beautifully. We do sell our sealant for public use so if you feel you want to top up the seal after a particularly bad winter or one of our typical wet summers that is no problem. Just contact us and we will direct you in the right way to the sealant you need!
Although resealing is not necessary cleaning our product is recommended, being an outdoor product algae does have a tendency to grow on anything. Regular washing with a hose and a sponge, not a pressure washer, is always a good idea whenever you feel it needs a sprucing up.
We create these Slate Planters on site in our workshop, with that being said we can make planters to whatever size you require. All you have to do is contact us and one of our keen experts will be with you to assist with any query!
When will my order arrive?
For sealer and stone ancillary items, we will ship your order using the FedEx Express Courier service. This guarantees delivery within 24 hours across most of the UK. Slate Planter orders will take 2 – 3 working days. However, if you live in the Isle of Wight, Scottish Offshore Islands, Channel Islands, or Northern Island, times may differ
Is there anything I should do in preparation for delivery?
You should allow for a 7.5 tonne truck to get up to the point of dispatch. The driver will deliver the stone, at their discretion, at the nearest safe point to the property. This may be on the roadside if the driver cannot gain access to the property. Please notify us if there are any access restrictions to the property so that we can plan ahead and prepare.
My project is over a period of time and will require several orders.
It is advisable to buy your stone in one batch, as the colour and surface of the stone can vary between batches. You should also ensure your tiler blends the colours so that the variation of shades are evenly spread.
What happens if my goods are damaged in transit?
It is important that you inspect your goods before the driver leaves. If the order was delivered by a courier please call us immediately to inform us. Make sure you sign for the goods as damaged. We may require a photograph of the damaged goods in order to pursue a claim. In some cases we may collect the damaged goods.
