Crafted with nature grade European Oak, Odell is sand blasted for a gently undulating surface and strong rustic appeal. The bare-look planks are hardwax oiled by hand, for a long-lasting, durable finish that’s easy to maintain.
When Ted Todd first started making wood floors in 1993, they made solid floorboards, in oak and walnut. Classic is their engineered version of the solid floorboards they made all those years ago. They do this by combining a 20mm thick engineered wood floor with a 100% hardwood structure. Obviously, being true to their roots, most of the floors in this collection are FSC® certified. Finally, the 6mm wear layer gives you the same hardwood wear layer you would have on one of Ted Todd’s solid wood floors – so it provides many years of use.
2 ply, 20mm – 6mm hardwood wear layer bonded to 100% birch plywood. Weight: 14kg/m².
How To Clean Your Ted Todd Floor
FOR ODELL WE WOULD RECOMMEND TED TODD NATURAL OIL MAINTENANCE KIT.
Maintained by cleaning/removing dirt from within the grain and replenishing the oils within the floor. Regularly clean with Careline Soft Clean. Additionally, deep clean with Careline Intensive Clean on your Natural Oiled Floor. Do not use Careline Intensive Clean on your Hardwax Oiled floor. Re-oil as necessary with either Careline Oil replenish or the original oil/hardwax oil. A deep clean with the Careline Intensive Cleaner (on a Natural Oiled floor only) and the application of the Careline Replenish Oil will show a marked improvement even for a floor that looks dry and dirty. Hardwax Oil is suitable for intensive areas.
